Parking we're talking about here is a hassle. It's a long downhill walk to the lot and an uphill trek to retrieve your car, especially striking if you're dragging bags. The luggage space in the room left us feeling cramped, unable to fit more than one coat into the short closet, unusual for this brand. The room temperature was a struggle. We had a baby with us and couldn't get warm enough for a decent bath. Plus, some unexpected scuff marks on the walls gave off a less-than-fresh vibe that doesn't match the standard of a 5-star hotel. Finally, breakfast pricing for younger kids felt excessive, at full price for a six-year-old-definitely a head-scratcher.

the rooms were updated and a nice size with the spacious bed, great drinks and a bath tube, just what we needed. the location was excellent, close enough to the city center, and the restaurant.

Just spent a night at this chic hotel. Loved the historic vibe and the spacious junior suite! Breakfast options were excellent, though dinner could use more variety. Fair warning, the half-board deal isn't worth it. A great stay!

The staff was incredibly professional and professional - I will come back. Everything was perfect, had a very good stay for another visit quite soon. Location: the hotel was near centre of town, and the downtown. Had some takeout meals at Snatch Fast Food, set just close to the property, I couldn't resist.

Perfect location in the city center, spacious rooms, and a really nice breakfast. The historic vibe of the building adds charm. Staff were professional and helped quickly when we had an issue.

The so-called hotel experience was disappointing. The receptionists were completely aloof, failing to even acknowledge guests. The breakfast options were severely lacking for a supposed luxury hotel. I expected at least some complimentary gestures for my troubles. Almost left a good review, but just couldn't overlook how underwhelming this stay was.

The building is a glorious historic gem complete with fine frescoed ceilings. The breakfast buffet was a good spread with a variety of international and local dishes. The room was immaculate, boasting modern comfort in a classic setting, and the view from the window was a treat for the eyes.

Breakfast options were good with plenty of variety to choose from, helping everyone start their day off right. I appreciated the professional staff who attended to my needs quickly.
